Yes, I’m alive!
Whoa, I haven’t updated in ages! 😲 Oops. 🤪
Honestly I haven’t been super active online. Been tired, lazy, and not real motivated. 😩
Also Happy Halloween! 🎃 Not doing anything myself. Not dressing up either. Usually just do that when I work on Halloween which I’m not this year. I’ll dress up the dogs though.
I guess I should give an update about the health issues I mentioned in the last post. Quite a bit to report there actually.
Well for one I ended up wearing a catheter for about a week which was horrible. It hurt so much. They claimed I would be able to work with it on but no way that I could, so I was off the whole week. Funny enough then the second since I had put in for a week off before all this. 🤪
Had a bunch of tests done. It seems the issue mostly is my kidneys. Both are working at around 50% and are rather swollen. And apparently the tube that connects to the bladder or whatever is thicker then it should be. That explains the bad side pains I get and probably the constripation since it likely puts pressure on everything. Also get pain in the groin. The doctor said surgery wouldn’t help much since its both kidneys. So he put me on a medication that helps my bladder hold more. On that and one that helps me go pee better. That one used to stuff up my nose badly but I guess my body got used to it. The newer one is annoying since it makes my mouth super dry. However, it does seem to help since the pain isn’t as bad, but that could be also due to the Tylenol I take daily. I switched to that from generic aspirin. Seems to help more. I still get a lot of pain, but not nearly as bad as before. Also not peeing as often and seem to be going better. So, I guess its helping. The worst is at work since I can’t always go when I need to and it hurts if I hold it. Half the time lately I just go anyway. 😛
Other then that not much going on. Been mostly lazy and playing a lot of games. Working on CrossCode’s DLC right now. Oh I also did get a Switch OLED which is pretty awesome. Also managed to snag a Playstation 5 from Playstation.com. Its pretty cool too.
Anyway, that’s all for now. Hopefully I don’t take months to update again. 😅

If I had so much time to visit everyone after so many years of not reading everyone’s blogs, I would have done so. But, as adults, we all have our own priorities in life. I’m still struggling a little bit because of the pandemic, but I’m hanging on.
I wasn’t aware that you’ve been having health problems. Honestly, right now is the worst time to have any form of health problems, but I do hope you’re recovering from time to time. I was lucky enough to not get the annual cold or flu from last year, I’m really paranoid with the pandemic and everything that I’ve done everything I can to take care of myself, from wearing masks (and I’ve gotten used to wearing them whenever I leave the house) to making sure I get vaccinated.
I’ve been getting into art (online art classes, thanks to the pandemic, once again), been more into that than just blogging in general, so I converted my entire personal blog into an art diary blog so I can practice my (digital) art while writing an entry accompanying it. ^^

Aw thanks. Honestly been having issues with what UTI’s and stuff for a couple years, though I suspect it was really this issue causing all that. I’m doing okay though. I mean it can be painful, but better then what it was.
Yeah this whole Covid thing has been rough on everyone. I get very paranoid with it too. I’d wear a mask even if I didn’t need to as does the rest of the family.

Yikes, that sounds painful indeed! Sorry to hear it gives you trouble at work. I hate jobs where you can’t go to the toilet when you need to.

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve stopped by. Certainly feel like I have missed a bit.
Catheters are not pleasant. I’ve had them during surgeries which weren’t very ideal, even only having it in for about a day or so. I hated the sensation of getting it pulled out. Hopefully by now, you’re starting to feel better?
I have a normal switch. Absolutely obsessed with it, but I can’t justify spending the extra money right now just to get a larger display. Kind of want to see what direction Nintendo goes next, maybe seeing if they release this Switch Pro that’s been rumored.
Yeah I hated the catheter. They ever want to again they can kiss my butt. XD
Yeah my brother was waiting forever for them to announce a Switch Pro. I definitely would get one if they ever do.

I think the last half of the year really kicked everyone while they were already down because you’re definitely not the only one who completely poofed off the internet (here’s to looking at you blonde lady in the mirror O.O) I just now got my new blog up and running just in time to eventually procrastinate again lol.

I hope you are feeling better now. I remember when my brother was young he spent a lot of time in the hospital due to some kidney problem too. But he hasn’t had another issues as an adult. Hopefully they were able to get you all fixed up. I hope you are having a Happy New Year!
Aww, well I’m glad your brother doesn’t have much issue with it anymore.
Sadly for me I’m guessing its something I’ll always have to deal with.
I’ve been okay just kept busy. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. I’ll try my best to visit since I still like to look at everyone’s sites that looks pretty.
