Gah!

I guess I should actually post something here someday, huh? 😅 Mixture of laziness and being busy I guess. Plus haven’t either felt like it or not sure what to write.

Work has been kinda frustrating lately. They keep me in back drive-thru all day (which is taking orders and money). I’m okay with breakfast, lunch I don’t know since I never take orders for that. So when I do it gets really hard for me. Between that and customers. I can only deal with people for so long. 😆

Today was especially bad since I was in there nearly my whole shift, and then when I finally got out I had to scrub down the lobby. Sersiouly? 😒 I’m typically in grill, but they keep putting on too many grill people. I’m just so fed up.

I did treat myself to Outback Steakhouse afterwards. Ordered some when I got home.

Kinda dreading going back to work tomorrow though. I’d much rather stay home. 😖

Steven Universe

Some of you may or may not know this, but I’m a big fan of Steven Universe.

I still remember Cartoon Network advertising it around when it started. I honestly figured it was another of their stupid shows. I randomly caught episodes here and there, and didn’t have much of a opinion I think. I ended up watching one of the major episodes when Lapis shows up. I continued to watch episodes like that, and decided the plot was really good, and watched more episodes. Mind you I didn’t go out of my way all the time to watch it, but I watched a lot of it.

It was a fun, somewhat odd show. But it taught some great messages. On top of that and probably my favorite thing other then the story is the music. It has great music (vocal and background). Some of it I listen to to give me a pick me up. Just…really positive and great.

I also have a decent amount of merchandise from it.

Last year (I think?) the main series ended. Some of us weren’t sure if it truly was the end or if another season was coming. Word was it was coming. Either way, the way the last one ended, was a perfect ending, so it could of. I loved it.

Sometime after we got the movie, which I completely adore. I’ve watched it many times. It also gave us a lot of great songs. Sometime after that a new, and last season was announced: Steven Universe Future. Which was supposed to tie up loose ends.

Today, was the finale of it, and the series.

I’m not going to go into details so as not to spoil it. I’ll say this much: Some fans predictions were correct. Some parts had me laughing, and other parts, near the climax, made me almost cry. I had tears rolling during the climax. I basically was trying to hide it since my mom and sister were watching with me. And then, it ended. At first, it just feels…like nothing as far as the ending. But honestly…I guess it was a good ending to the show. After watching it…I honestly wanted to cry. Its…over. No more Steven Universe. Its hard to realize how much I loved the show. Gravity Falls has always been my favorite and likely always will, but Steven Universe has moved right next to it. Its been up there for a while anyway. It just…is an amazing show.

I really wanna buy the episodes on iTunes and watch it all over.

Corona Virus

Well, I guess I should actually post something. 😅

So, I’m sure we all know about the lovely (not) Corona Virus going around.

Its scary as heck. Freaks me out.

Of course I’ve always been anxious when it comes to germs. When I was a kid I freaked out a lot. At one point I would turn off faulsets with spoons till my mom took them away to make me stop. 😆 I’m no where near as bad. Honestly working at McDonalds I think helped me get over a lot of it.

But yeah, scares me a lot. I just worry about getting it or my family getting it. I don’t even want to leave the house. The only times I do is for work or doctor appointments. Otherwise my fat butt stays in the house. I barely want to go out for what I do have to.

This week they’ve started cutting hours. I already knew that was coming. All non-essesital business’ are closed now (we’re considered essential since we’re food). I have all five hour shifts: 5 am – 10 am. Honestly, I’m okay with it. I ain’t fighting that. Right now I rather have that. Plus for once they’ve cut everyone instead of picking certain people.

Oh yeah, the owner gave out gift cards for Wegmans, I guess since we’re still coming to work? Regardless its nice. I gave it to my mom.

I had a doctor’s appointment today (counselor for my anxiety), but they gave me the choice of doing it on the phone, which I’m choosing. Really glad for that.

So yeah, pretty much how all this is affecting me. Hoping we’ll be okay. Stay safe guys!
