Improvements and frustration

I suppose its about time I updated.

First, an update about my eye. It did mostly clear up. Eye doctor just said to keep washing it and using a compress. Naturally being me I neglected to half the time. It did feel like it was coming back.

But this is where it got interesting. See, I have eye plugs in the tear ducts of my eyes. I get bad dry eye so it helps keep moisture it. It helps quite a bit. Well, one morning like a few weeks ago was cleaning the gunk out of that eye and what do you know it had come out. If you look close enough you can tell. Last time I looked it had been there so I assume it came out during the night.

Now, the funny thing is after that my eye stopped bothering me at all! My mom thinks maybe it had been coming out and causing issues. No idea. I will have to get it replaced sometime, but not in a big hurry too. Especially since I was literally just at the eye doctor.

Not a lot else going on. Work has been….meh. Lately since we got this new kid in the grill area they keep trying to put me in back drive-thru. Thing with that is for the last year or more I’ve only done grill. Maybe do the window when absolutely needed. I’m better at grill and sometimes have a hard time dealing with customers. Supposedly this guy was slowly learning the window, but never heard a thing.

My main issue is I’m a grill person and like I said have a harder time with it and I’m one of the better grill workers. Plus, I’m not too knowledgeable about the window anymore. The other half is more on the medical end. I have issues with my bladder and kidneys. I sometimes have to go to the bathroom a lot. And I really shouldn’t be holding it at all. I’m not always able to go to the bathroom as easily in the window especially if its busy or no ones there to take my spot. Now, if I do hold it, my sides hurt. And once that usually happens at work it messes it up for the day. Oh and naturally it’s when it’s getting colder and stuff. Cause of my health stuff I probably could get sick easier too.

Last week they had me in there way more than usual. And they’ve slowly increased the length of time. One of the days they tried to when they had someone for there. The manager just didn’t want to be up front by herself. I basically said no. I don’t mind if your short and there’s no one else, but its another story when you have someone.

I’m going to see how it goes from here, but if it continues that way I’ll speak to the store manager. Probably say I can do it, but no more then like an hour. I just don’t like being taken advantage of and basically being kicked out of grill cause of some new idiot. Just really upsets and makes me angry.

But I guess we’ll see. I’m hoping it’ll improve soon.
