A new necklace and vacation!

So, a few entries back I mentioned how my brother passed away. When making funeral arrangements we paid extra for some necklaces of his fingerprints. Me, my mom, and sister got one. And we got it engraved on the back. Those finally came in!

Here’s mine:

Let me explain the engraving.

Bowie was my brother’s nickname which he did hate. I couldn’t say his name I guess when I was little and called him that. After that everyone called him that. 

The hugs part…well I often wanted hugs from him and he would give em or let me hug him.

I’ll always cherish this. My mom also got copies of his thumbprint if we ever want to do something like this again.

On a much more cheerful note, I’m off from work this week. Not going anywhere, mostly stuff around the area. Either way its nice to just be off from work.
